I hope you are well while 2020 has come to an end. It has been a tough year for most of us. It has also brought us new things. I am grateful for some insights as takeaways from the past year. I have learned that I need less of many things I do not need in my life. And of course I have been missing the things that I do need in my life, like sketching with likeminded friends.

In lecture 11 you will learn to sketch a car, by seeing it as a box.

Another takeaway is the joy I have been experiencing setting up The Never Ending Workshop, my free online sketch course. I have learned a lot going through that proces. The idea popped up at the beginning of the first partial lockdown here in The Netherlands. At that time I could not have imagined that over 1300 people from all over the world would have joined the workshop by the end of the year. Receiving your warm reactions has helped me to keep spirits up. Thank you for keeping me company, wherever you are.

Today I have released the last two lectures of 2020, so you can start the new year with more sketching fun. These are part of a series of four lectures. The third and fourth lecture will be released early January. If you join The Never Ending Workshop just now, you’ll have 12 lectures to keep you busy for the coming weeks.

I wish you and your loved ones a happy new year. Let’s continue to create in 2021!
