My name is Ruud Otten (aka Ruudsketcher). I am an urban sketcher and I have been drawing since I was little. I teach urban sketching in online and on-location workshops. In addition to that I love to make and use my own vegan-friendly handmade watercolor paints.
In 2013 I have founded the national Urban Sketchers Netherlands group and I was local organiser of the 10th International Urban Sketchers Symposium 2019 in Amsterdam with over 1200 urban sketchers from 47 countries.
In 2020 I started ‘The Sketch Co. by Ruud’ as the brand that represents my activities as an urban sketching tutor and handmade paints maker. If you like, you can join my free online sketch course ‘The Never Ending Workshop’. This course will always be free.
